Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Pregnant women ââ?°Â¥18 years not in active labour undergoing caesarean section
Exclusion Criteria
- •Active labour with cervical dilation ââ?°Â¥6cm
- •Ã¯â??· Women with known or suspected antenatal hypertensive disorders of pregnancy
- •Ã¯â??· Intrapartum hypertension (defined as a single systolic blood pressureââ?°Â¥ 160 mmHg, or
- •two consecutive blood pressures of ââ?°Â¥ 140 mmHg systolic or ââ?°Â¥ 90 mmHg diastolic
- •taken 30 min apart),
- •Ã¯â??· Antepartum haemorrhage of ââ?°Â¥ 50 ml,
- •Ã¯â??· Confirmed maternal coagulation disorder
- •Ã¯â??· Intrauterine fetal death in the current pregnancy
- •Ã¯â??· Women who would decline blood and blood products,
- •Ã¯â??· Women with peripheral vascular, cardiac or hepatic disease,
- •Ã¯â??· Women with epilepsy,
- •Ã¯â??· Women with an allergy or sensitivity to any of the ingredients in any of the study
