Inclusion Criteria

included will be: individuals diagnosed with alcohol use disorder (AUD) and/or cannabis use disorder (CUD), who start basis GGZ treatment in one of the three participating addiction treatment centers

Exclusion Criteria

Patients showing compulsive gaming, a gambling disorder, or internet addiction will be excluded from participation because the internet delivered training task might have counterproductive effects for this group of patients. Further, patients who do not have a Personal Computer (PC), or Notebook and access to internet at home will be excluded for this study.

Primary Outcome Measures

<p>Primary outcome parameters are changes in substance use, level of dependency<br /><br>and craving, and relapse-rates. Health condition, and societal costs will be<br /><br>primary outcome parameters to assess cost-effectiveness of this intervention. </p><br>
Secondary Outcome Measures

<p>The secondary outcome parameters are attentional bias, and secondary physical<br /><br>and psychological complaints (and specifically anxiety, depression and stress).<br /><br>Further outcome parameters are subjective evaluations of the training, from the<br /><br>perspectives of both patient and therapist.<br /><br><br /><br>Lastly we would like to analyze for whom this training worked and for whom it<br /><br>did not work (with independent variables such as co-occurring diagnoses, length<br /><br>of addiction period, number of sessions that were completed, motivation for<br /><br>treatment (number of no-shows)).</p><br>
