- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The interview study aims to gain a comprehensive understanding of the factors that support and hinder older adults in implementing successful health self-management. This understanding should be based on multiple perspectives on the experiences and views of people who belong to the group of community-dwelling older adults or who deal directly with geriatric patients professionally (doctors, nurses, therapists) and privately (carers). Specifically, the following sub-objectives should be mentioned:
- To identify opportunities and barriers for successful self-management of health in geriatric patients,
- to determine a common (definitional) understanding of (successful) health self-management by people in the geriatric health sector,
- the exploration of suitable media for the implementation of intervention modules to improve health self-management in geriatric patients.
