Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. Patients scheduled for elective caesarean delivery via a low transverse abdominal incision (Pfannenstiel) under spinal anaesthesia
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Patients refusal 2\. Known allergy to the study drug
- •3\. Body mass index more than 40 kg/m2
- •4\. Contraindications to regional anaesthesia (bleeding diathesis, infection at the site of block and peripheral neuropathy)
- •5\. Severe medical conditions such as severe pre\-eclampsia and eclampsia.
- •6\. Significant renal, hepatic or cardiovascular disease.
- •7\. Neuraxial block failure.
- •8\. Any major intra\-operative complication like post\-partum haemorrhage.
