Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •General inclusion criteria:
  • •\- Female sex
  • •\- Age between 11 to 19 years
  • •\- Sufficient understanding of the German language
  • •\- Informed consent from study participants and their legal guardians
  • •Inclusion Criteria Patient Group Anorexia Nervosa:
  • •\- Diagnosis of anorexia nervosa according to ICD\-10 F50\.0
  • •\- Connection to outpatient, day\-care or inpatient diagnosis/counseling/treatment at KJP Regensburg
  • •\- BMI index below the 10th age percentile
  • •Inclusion criteria Control group:

Exclusion Criteria

  • •General Exclusion Criteria:
  • •\- Pre\-existing neurological or endocrinological disease
  • •\- Pregnancy
  • •\- Interlectual impairment (IQ \< 80\)
  • •\- Comorbid profound developmental disorder (autism)
  • •\- substance dependence
  • •\- Taking a psychotropic medication
  • •\- lack of consent
  • •\- acute suicidal tendency
  • •\- MRI\-specific contraindications that preclude patient inclusion due to the strong magnetic field, including: Metallic foreign objects, tattoos with metal\-containing pigments, claustrophobia, pacemakers and defibrillator systems, cochlear implant, implanted insulin pumps, non\-removable piercings made of magnetic materials
