Inclusion Criteria

Children and adolescents aged 9 to 19 years, the control group was paired with respect to gender and age;
For the sample, children and adolescents diagnosed with CKD, and dependent on hemodialysis treatment;
Signature of the Informed Consent Term (TCLE) and the Informed Consent Term (TALE), both for the group of patients and for the control group;

Exclusion Criteria

Children and adolescents with inability to understand the objectives of the study, as well as the issues presented;
Severe auditory or verbal impairment, making it impossible to understand the tests and objectives of the study;
Medical contraindication for participation;
Severe neuropsychiatric comorbidity associated.

Primary Outcome Measures

Expected outcome 1: Decreased muscle strength in children and adolescents at the terminal stage of Chronic Kidney Disease compared to their healthy peers. Used dynamometer for force analysis. Data were collected from August / 2015 to January / 2016;Result Found 1:The hypothesis was confirmed, children and adolescents on hemodialysis had a significant decrease in muscle strength in relation to the control group, p = <0.001 at a level of 5%;Expected outcome 2: Impairment in the manual motor skills of children and adolescents in the terminal stage of Chronic Kidney Disease compared to their healthy peers. Used the Jebsen Taylor test for evaluation. Data were collected from August / 2015 to January / 2016;Result Found 2: The hypothesis was confirmed, children and adolescents on hemodialysis presented significant impairment of motor skills in relation to the control group, p = <0.001 at a level of 5%
