Inclusion Criteria

Newly diagnosed patients showing clinical or radiological evidence of tuberculous spinal involvement/Potts spine.

Exclusion Criteria

1.Patients already on anti-tubercular regimen for more than 1-2 weeks.

2.Patient is a relapsed case of tuberculosis.

3.Patient not willing for treatment/investigation.

1.Radiological analysis pertaining to kyphosis, fracture, abscess, instability. <br/ ><br>2.Correlation of radiological/PET scan and HPE/CBNAAT examination in management of patient with Potts spine. <br/ ><br>3.To compare the relation between severity of clinical features and extent of tuberculosis as assessed by averaged 18F-FDG maximum standardized uptake value [SUVmax] scan at 0, 2, 6 and 12 months. <br/ ><br>4.Clinical analysis of therapy response (JOA/ASIA/modified BI) <br/ ><br>Timepoint: one year recruitment and one year follow up
