Inclusion Criteria
are mechanically ventilated and suspected to be in septic shock as per Sepsis-3 definition which involves lactate levels greater than or equal to 2 mmol/L and vasopressor use
Exclusion Criteria
Extracorporeal therapy,
FIO2 requirement > 85%
Changes of ventilator settings during IC measurement
Refusal of informed consent
