Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Patients who were diagnosed as hypertensive and their blood pressure ââ?°Â¤ 159/99\.
  • 2\. Mandibular molars with an endodontic pulpal diagnosis of symptomatic irreversible pulpitis.
  • 3\. Patients who had not taken any analgesics the day before and the day of the root canal procedure.

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Patients who refuse to give informed consent.
  • 2\. Teeth other than mandibular molars (incisors, canines, premolars).
  • 3\. Teeth with any resorptions, anatomy anomalies or perforations.
  • 4\. Patients taking pain medication for other systemic conditions.
  • 5\. Allergic to local anesthetics or any other drugs.
  • 6\. Conditions that influence the pain scores, and with presence of periapical radiolucency, swelling, and sinus tract.
  • 7\. Teeth with vertical fractures and periodontally compromised teeth.
  • Non\-restorable teeth.
