All patients on Antiepileptic drugs for a minimum period of 6months
Females Age more than or equal to 20years and premenopausal
Males Age more than or equal to 20years and
below 65years of age
Patients with comorbidities that may not have a major impact on bone health like Hypothyroidism with euthyroid status Hypertension Dyslipidemia Well controlled Diabetes mellitus
Presence of chronic comorbidities which could affect bone mineral density like Chronic kidney disease Primary hyperparathyroidism Rheumatoid arthritis Uncontrolled Diabetes (HbA1C above 7) Hyperthyroidism
Intake of drugs like steroids, estrogen, recombinant Parathormone Calcitonin Diuretics Anticoagulants
