Inclusion Criteria
1.Children hospitalized to the Pediatrics ward.
2.Prescribed at least one antibiotic during their hospital stay.
3.Age more than 1 month and less than or equal to 12 years.
Exclusion Criteria
1.Children admitted to the pediatric ICU.
2.Legally Authorised Representative or children not willing to give informed consent or assent respectively.

Name Time Method Percentage awareness of parents per item (from the questionnaire) <br/ ><br>Direct cost occurring that will include <br/ ><br>Medical cost: Drugs, Laboratory investigations, other interventions (if any) <br/ ><br>Non-medical cost: Travel, Food, Stay <br/ ><br>Indirect cost occurring in the form of loss of wages of the guardian <br/ ><br>Treatment outcome: <br/ ><br>Time taken for clinical signs & symptoms of infection (including fever, cough, etc) to subside after starting antibiotic therapy <br/ ><br>Number of days of hospitalisation <br/ ><br>Number of children who responded to empirical antibiotic treatment <br/ ><br>Number of children who required change of antibiotics <br/ ><br>Number of children cured following change of antibiotic treatment <br/ ><br>Timepoint: To be assessed at one time point that is on the day of discharge of hospitalized pediatric patients.
