Inclusion Criteria

1 ASA-I, II and III.

2 Either sex.

3 Age group 1 month to 8 years.

4 Elective and emergency surgeries.

5 Under general anaesthesia using uncuffed endotracheal tube

Exclusion Criteria

1 Age group < 1 months and > 8 years.

2 ASA IV and above.

3 Difficult airways.

4 Tracheostomy in situ.

5 Head and neck surgery.

6 Nasogastric tube in situ before induction of anaesthesia

7 Upper respiratory tract infection like fever, cough, rhinorrhea, croup, sore throat, hoarseness of voice.

8 Patients with poor lung compliance.

The amount of leak around uncuffed endotracheal tube in children when the size selection is as per modified Coleâ??s formula and anaesthesiologist discretion. <br/ ><br>To correlate the postoperative airway morbidity with leak pressure.Timepoint: Just after intubation and immediate postextubation period till 2 hours.
