Inclusion Criteria
- •Untreated metastatic colorectal carcinoma
- •Age = 18 years
- •Measurable disease according to Response Evaluation Criteria in solid Tumors (RECIST) criteria
- •Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) performance status 0 or 1
- •Life expectancy more than 3 months
- •Adequate haematological, renal and liver function
- •Blood sample and paraffin embedded tumour tissue for translational research
- •Are the trial subjects under 18? no
- •Number of subjects for this age range:
- •F.1.2 Adults (18-64 years) yes

Exclusion Criteria
- •Adjuvant therapy within 6 months
- •Central nervous system (CNS) metastases
- •Clinically significant atherosclerotic vascular disease
