Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\)Age Group â?? 20\-60 years of either sex.
- •2\)Weight: 40\-70 kg
- •3\)ASA â?? I/II/III.
- •4\)Mallampati Grade\- I / II/III
- •5\)Patient posted for orthopaedic surgeries involving proximal humerus:e.g.\- Philos plating, rotator cuff injury, humerus fixation or any other surgeries involving anterio\-medial / posterio\-medial incision of upper arm.
- •6\)Duration of surgery 3\-4 hours
- •7\)Patients who are able to give written \& informed consent
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\)Patients who are not willing for procedure.
- •2\)Patients with coagulopathy, local infection, pre\-existing neuropathy and nerve injury, open trauma / hematoma at site of block
- •3\)Known psychiatric illness \& significant h/o drug or alcohol abuse.
- •4\)Known severe heart, kidney, liver disease and uncontrolled diabetes.
- •5\)Hypersensitivity to local anaesthetic drug.
