Inclusion Criteria

1)Age Group â?? 20-60 years of either sex.

2)Weight: 40-70 kg

3)ASA â?? I/II/III.

4)Mallampati Grade- I / II/III

5)Patient posted for orthopaedic surgeries involving proximal humerus:e.g.- Philos plating, rotator cuff injury, humerus fixation or any other surgeries involving anterio-medial / posterio-medial incision of upper arm.

6)Duration of surgery 3-4 hours

7)Patients who are able to give written & informed consent

Exclusion Criteria

1)Patients who are not willing for procedure.

2)Patients with coagulopathy, local infection, pre-existing neuropathy and nerve injury, open trauma / hematoma at site of block

3)Known psychiatric illness & significant h/o drug or alcohol abuse.

4)Known severe heart, kidney, liver disease and uncontrolled diabetes.

5)Hypersensitivity to local anaesthetic drug.

1)Assessment of Intercostobrachial nerve block(T2) with low volume Interscalene blocks for sensory and motor effect <br/ ><br>2)Requirement of additional anaesthes,by intravenous inj.Fentanyl, local infiltration, Inj.Propofol) <br/ ><br> (Success rate of block). <br/ ><br> <br/ ><br>Timepoint: Assessment of sensory and motor blockade after 20-30 minutes of both block. <br/ ><br> <br/ ><br>

1)Vital Parameters <br/ ><br>2)Perioperative complicationsTimepoint: 1)vital parameters(Pulse,Blood pressure,Spo2, Respiratory rate) motoring intraoperative ly and Post operatively patient will be monitored for vital parameters as well as perioperative complications for 24 hours if any.
