Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •The patients enrolled were aged between 18 to 60 yrs, weighing 40 to 80kg and belonging to either gender scheduled for elective standard PCNL requiring 14/16 French nephrostomy tube at the end of procedure with single subcostal nephrostomy tract under general anesthesia. The average stone size was 2\.5cm
Exclusion Criteria
- •Patients with renal stones requiring more than a single puncture with supracostal punctures, BMI \>30, patients with uncontrolled diabetes\& hypertension, excessive bleeding during the procedure, surgical procedure lasting more than 3 hrs duration patients with ASA grades III and IV, delayed recovery or requiring post\-operative ventilation were excluded from the study.
