入选标准
- •1. Women with term pregnancy (37 to 41 completed weeks) undergoing elective or
- •emergency cesarean section
排除标准
- •1. Women with clinical evidence of infection- fever or leucocytosis
- •2. Women already receiving or scheduled to receive antibiotic therapy for some other
- •3. Moderate anemia (hb at enrolment)
- •4. Known HIV positivity
- •5. Women with heart disease needing antibiotic prophylaxis from prevention of SABE
- •6. Second stage caesarean section
- •7. Rupture of membranes ( >24hours)
- •8. Women with penicillin allergy
- •9. BMI > 30 kg/m2
