Singleton pregnant women with Gestational age between 24 to 36 weeks admitted with
consistent painful uterine contractions(uterine activity recorded using Tocogram) With intact
membranes with Cervical dilatation < 3 cm.
1.Any clinical evidence of infection such as fever,WBC count more than 15000/µL, CRP values more than 6mg/L
2.Pregnant women with established preterm labor pain (Cervix more than or equal to 3 cm dilated)
3.Multiple gestation
4.Women with ruptured membranes
5.Women having uterine anomalies
6.Those who have contra indications to tocolysis therapy
7.Those in whom preterm delivery is indicated due to placental/fetal pathologies
8.Acute/chronic inflammatory diseases such as SLE,Rheumatoid arthritis,ITP
