•Patients of both the genders having the age between 30 to 75 years.
•Presence of any classical symptoms i.e., pain, burning sensation, numbness, tingling sensation, insensitivity to Vibration and hot or cold in feet.
•Patients with clinical positive history of diabetes mellitus having the symptoms of diabetic peripheral neuropathy will be selected for the present study.
•Patients having BSL (FBS <200 mg/dl & PPBS <400 mg/dl).

•Patients having any other associated clinical conditions influencing peripheral nerve function. (like Chronic Kidney Disease)
•Age below 30 years and above 75 years.
•Patients having BSL (FBS >200 mg/dl & PPBS >400 mg/dl).
•Pregnancy and Lactating women.
•Severe Anaemia (Hb <6 g/dl).
•Haemolytic disorders â?? ITP (Immune thrombocytopenia), Haemophillia, and Thalassemia contraindicated / unfit for Jalaukavacharana (Leech Therapy).
•Blood borne infections.
