Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Children presenting with urinary tract infections (\>\=1 episodes), between the age group of 1 month to 5 years (culture proved UTI/ pyuria with \> 5 WBC/Hpf in a centrifuged sample or \>10 WBC/Hpf in an uncentrifuged sample).
Exclusion Criteria
- •Children developing nosocomial urinary tract infection
- •Children with known immune deficiency
- •Children of parents who refuse to consent for participation in the study
