Inclusion Criteria
Children presenting with urinary tract infections (>=1 episodes), between the age group of 1 month to 5 years (culture proved UTI/ pyuria with > 5 WBC/Hpf in a centrifuged sample or >10 WBC/Hpf in an uncentrifuged sample).
Exclusion Criteria
Children developing nosocomial urinary tract infection
Children with known immune deficiency
Children of parents who refuse to consent for participation in the study
