Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. 100 patients of either sex
  • •2\. Having senile cataract ( \>40 years) graded as per LOCS III grading
  • •3\. Having undergone uncomplicated phacoemulsification surgery with foldable IOL
  • •4\. Surgery done using 2\.8mm incision

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Eye infection
  • •2\. Recent contact lens use
  • •3\. Lid abnormalities
  • •4\. Pterygium
  • •5\. Glaucoma
  • •6\. Corneal opacity
  • •7\. Uveitis or other inflammatory eye diseases
  • •8\. Complicated cataract
  • •9\. Previous ocular surgery
  • •10\. Traumatic cataract
