Unipedal Stance Test for assessing static balance,

Brief Summary

112 Young adults are included in the study to assess static and dynamic  balance using Unipedal stance test, Sharpened Romberg test, Stork stance test, Four square step test, Star excursion balance test, Dynamic leap balance test will be assessed in the morning and afternoon for two consecutive days. This study aims to assess the diurnal variation in balance.

18.00 Year(s) to 30.00 Year(s) (—)

Inclusion Criteria

  • Young adults of both Genders aged between 18- 30 years.
  • Able to stand unaided.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Vestibular disorders.
  • Acute and Chronic Ankle instability.
  • Recent illness or injury.
  • Chronic sleep disorders.
  • Visual impairments.

Outcomes

Primary Outcomes

Unipedal Stance Test for assessing static balance,

Time Frame: Unipedal Stance Test, | Stork Stance Balance Test, Sharpened Romberg Test. | Dynamic Leap Balance Test, Star Excursion Balance Test, Four Square step test will be assessed in the morning at 09:30 am and 02:30 pm in the afternoon. The tests will be repeated for the same participants on the next day

Stork Stance Balance Test for assessing static balance, Sharpened Romberg Test for assessing static balance.
