Inclusion Criteria
• Units with = 10 beds and hospitalization rate of min. 48 hours
• General units with medical, surgical or mixed patients
• Patient records with minimum length of stay of 48 hours
Exclusion Criteria
• Units with an intense level of care (e.g. intermediary and intensive care unit) or with high specialized care are excluded due to an increased staffing level
• Transfer of patient to another unit = 12 hours
• Nursing staff of each unit =18 years old
