1.Patients of either gender in the age group of 20-60 years.
2.Subjects diagnosed on the basis of validated questionnaire for sharirika Ama lakshanas and Purisha ama lakshanas.
3. Apparently normal age and gender matched subjects as controls.
1.Subjects on any kind of laxatives, Probiotics.
2.On long term treatment ( >3months) with antibiotics, NSAIDs or proton pump inhibitors during the month before inclusion or have consumed in last 3 days.
3.Diagnosed case of HIV, Viral Hepatitis infection.
2. Pregnant women/ lactating mothers
3. Participation in other clinical studies in past 12 weeks.
4. Patients on long term treatment ( >3months) bowel altering drugs like anti-psychotropic medications, Carbamazepine Frusemide have consumed in last 3 days.
5. Patients subjected with barium meal enema in past two weeks also will not be considered
