Brief Summary

Our study suggests that second look laparoscopy could be contemplated as a safe method to detect early recurrence of BOT after initial surgery and that it can be performed safely as perioperative complications were generally low. Nevertheless, results referring early recurrence and overall survival should be considered with restraints. A closer follow-up using second look laparoscopy for women with known risk factors for BOT recurrence should be considered. Therefore, benefits of second look laparoscopy should be evaluated in further bigger studies.
