Study outcome helps the clinician to decide on an better efficacy and accuracy in cleaning and shaping root canals so that the post operative endodontic pain can be minimized

简要总结

Patients were randomly divided  into two groups after fulfilling the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Access opening was done . Working length was determined using electronic apex locator mode in both the groups. GROUP 1 - Canal pro CL2i and GROUP 2 - AI Endomotor . Biomechanical preparation was done. Obturation was done. Post operative pain was assessed at the time  interval  of 4 ,8,12, 48   hours.

入选标准

  • Ages ranging from : 18-65 years Systemically healthy individuals (ASA class 1) Human permanent maxillary and mandibular first and second molars and premolars.
  • Patients diagnosed with symptomatic and asymptomatic irreversible pulpitis VAS score (mild) to (moderate)(1-4).

排除标准

  • Non-vital teeth, swelling, sinus tract endodontic retreatment root resorption, cracks , trauma immature / open apex patients with any uncontrolled systemic disease.
  • tooth with multiple wall defects.
  • patients with severe pain, tooth with PAI >2 periodontally compromised teeth pregnancy and lactating mother.
  • Aberrant root canal anatomy.

Study outcome helps the clinician to decide on an better efficacy and accuracy in cleaning and shaping root canals so that the post operative endodontic pain can be minimized

时间窗: 1 hour , 24 hours,48 hours 1 week

次要结局

  • Accuracy of Working Length(Will be measured before initiation of biomechanical preparation)
