•1.Patients in the age group 13 â?? 50 years with calcium oxalate stones in the urinary tract as proven by CT Scan and attending the Urology Out-Patient clinic of Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram

•1.Patients less than 13 years of age and more than 50 years of age.
•2.Patients with Obstructive uropathy, Chronic urosepsis / Positive urine culture, Renal failure, (S. Creatinine >2.0 mg %) Renal Tubular Acidosis, Primary Hyperoxaluria , Medullary Sponge Kidney.
•3.Patients with anatomical abnormalities of the Urinary Tracts
•4.Pregnancy
•5.Active cancer
•6.Recurrent urinary infections
•7.Gross hematuria
•8.Receiving treatment with thiazides
•9.Patients having a serious alternate disease that might affect completion of the study or jeopardize the study.
•10.Inability to give informed consent
