简要总结
This randomized study compared three ways of delivering standardized digital education about breast cancer and early detection among adult women. Participants were assigned to education through a private social media account, a dedicated website, an electronic brochure delivered through WhatsApp, or a control group. The study assessed whether the educational formats changed breast cancer screening beliefs and prevention behaviors after 12 weeks.
详细描述
A total of 120 women were allocated equally to four parallel groups (30 per group) using a computer-generated block randomization sequence. The three intervention groups received the same core breast cancer and early-detection information adapted to Instagram, a website, or an electronic brochure, together with weekly platform-specific reminders for 12 weeks. The control group received no active digital education during the study period. Outcomes were measured at baseline and after 12 weeks using the Breast Cancer Screening Beliefs Scale and the Scale of Factors Affecting Women's Breast Cancer Prevention Behaviors.

结局指标
主要结局
Change From Baseline in Breast Cancer Screening Beliefs Scale Total Score
时间窗: Baseline and 12 weeks
The Breast Cancer Screening Beliefs Scale measures attitudes toward health screening, knowledge and perceptions of breast cancer, and perceived barriers to mammography. The outcome is the change in total score from baseline to post-intervention; higher scores indicate more favorable screening beliefs.
Change From Baseline in Women's Breast Cancer Prevention Behaviors Scale Total Score
时间窗: Baseline and 12 weeks
The Scale of Factors Affecting Women's Breast Cancer Prevention Behaviors assesses support systems, self-efficacy, self-care, stress management, motivation, information seeking, and attitude. The outcome is the change in total score from baseline to post-intervention; higher scores indicate more favorable prevention behaviors.
次要结局
