简要总结
This will be an experimental study done in the outpatient and inpatient departments of general medicine and pulmonology at Government Medical College, Kottayam, for a period of 12 months after getting Scientific Review Committee and Institutional Review Board approval. All subjects who satisfy the inclusion criteria are given, informed consent and will be allowed to participate in the study.
Details such as age, gender, PFT and SGRQ-C will be recorded pre-test. Subjects in the intervention group will be trained thoroughly for 6 weeks. PFT and SGRQ-C will be repeated after six weeks in all groups. Data will be entered into a proforma for data analysis.
•All received a treatment of 20 minutes per day, initially supervised by the therapist for 4 days in the first week. For the next 2-6 weeks, they were telephonically followed up on for a total of 6 weeks.

入选标准
- •Patients who are categorised as having moderate disease severity as per GOLD classification irrespective of previous inhaler use.(FEV1 greater than 60% but less than 80% of predicted and FEV1/FVC reduced to 5% of predicted value).
排除标准
- •Medications that cause side effects as OAD symptoms Patients with neurological deficits mostly concerned with sensory, motor and coordination deficits Patients who cannot comprehend/ follow instructions for breath hold techniques.
- •Patients who have already been trained in any of the group specified exercise.
