HOSPITAL DIAGNOSED CASE OF ALL TYPES OF PNEUMONIA .

PATIENT WILLING TO GIVE CONSENT FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE STUDY

To describe the drug prescribing pattern in older patients pneumonia using WHO indicators:- <br/ ><br>(a) Average number of drugs per encounter. <br/ ><br>(b) Percentage of drug prescribed by generic name. <br/ ><br>(c) Percentage of encounters with an antimicrobials prescribed. <br/ ><br>(d) Percentage of encounters with an injection prescribed. <br/ ><br>(e) Percentage of drugs prescribed from Essential Drugs List (EDL), Rajasthan. (According to 22th list, 2022) <br/ ><br>2.To estimate the proportion of cases where drugs are being prescribed according to Standard Treatment guidelines . <br/ ><br>Timepoint: 1 YEAR

1.To describe the clinical and sociodemographic profile of older patients with pneumonia. <br/ ><br>2.To determine the percentage of cases who experienced adverse drug reaction within one week of admission. <br/ ><br>3.To determine the percentage of cases where prescription need to be changed as per culture sensitivity report. <br/ ><br>Timepoint: 1 YEAR
