Assessment of degree of hypovolemia is key stepin adequate management and outcome of patients. Many times patients end up withthe under hydration or fluid overload due to poor assessment of blood losswhich have deleterious effect on patients outcome.-invasive evaluation of central venous pressure(CVP) is a component of the physical examination that can be very valuable inpatient care, especially in the assessment of volume status. Measurement of endexpiratory diameter of the IJV by USG in supine position exhibited a highcorrelation to CVP. Point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) is convenient,safe, non invasive, economical, easily obtainable, performed at the bedside

- •1>18 year of age 2 DCMP without decompensation 3RCMP without decompensation 4HCM without decompensation 5CAD: Ischemic Cardiomyopathy 6Valvular heart disease without decompensation excluding TR 7Pulmonary HTN without RV failure.
排除标准
- •â€¢Patient’s unwillingness to participate in study.
- •â€¢Patients who are unable to lie in supine position •Uncooperative patients who are not able to understand the commands.

- •â€¢Patients who are k/c/o Chronic liver disease/ Portal HTN •Patients who are k/c/o ADHF, Stable CAD, RV dysfunction.
