- •Presence of HbSS
- •Painful crisis with pain score of 7 and above
- •Acute chest syndrome
Exclusion Criteria
- •Allergy to arginine
- •Hb concentration of 5g/dl and below
- •Presence of congenital and acquired heart diseases
- •Electrolyte derangement
- •Patients with kidney and liver diseases
