Inclusion Criteria
All patients undergoing elective infra umbilical surgery under spinal anaesthesia.
ASA grade 1 and 2.
weight between 50 to 100 kgs.
Height between 150 to 180 cms.
Exclusion Criteria
Patients in whom spinal anaesthesia is contraindicated.
patients with spine deformities and those who have undergone spine surgeries.
Pregnant patients.
unwillingness for surgery.

Name Time Method To evaluate the effect of hip to shoulder width ratio on the sensory level of spinal anaesthesiaTimepoint: At 20 minutes,30 minutes, 40 minutes, 50 minutes, 60 minutes, 90 minutes
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method To detemine the correlation of level of sensory block with other patient charecteristics - weight, height, BMI, age.Timepoint: Every 5 minutes till 30 minutes, then every 10 minutes till two segment regression of the sensory level.
