Diagnosis of pleural adhesion using dynamic-ventilation CT
- Conditions
- Pleaural adhesionpleura, adhesion, pleuritis, empyema
- Registration Number
- JPRN-jRCTs072180070
- Lead Sponsor
- Yamashiro Tsuneo
- Brief Summary
In conclusion, the dynamic-ventilation CT has a low diagnostic accuracy for diagnosing inflammatory pleural adhesions, and is not superior to general chest CT. On the other hand, regarding the invasion and adhesion of subpleural lung cancer to the parietal pleura, the dynamic-ventilation CT has a high diagnostic accuracy, which is similar to the previous reports.
