candidate for femur or tibia fracture surgery
Having an indication for spinal anesthesia
Exclusion Criteria
history of hypersensitivity or adverse reaction to fentanyl or pethidine or known hypersensitivity to local anesthetics
anatomical abnormalities at the injection site
drug abuse
kidney and liver diseases
