Patients:
1. Diagnosis of bipolar disorder currently in remission (no episodes in the past 3 months).
First degree relatives:
1. Parent/ biological siblings/ offspring of patients with bipolar disorder.
2. No history of psychiatric illness or current diagnosis.
Healthy Controls:
1. SRQ 20 score of below 6
Patients:
1. No past history or current diagnosis of any other psychiatric condition excluding tobacco dependence syndrome.
2. No family or personal history of neurological conditions.
First degree relatives:
1. No history of neurological conditions
2. SRQ 20 score of 6 and above
Healthy controls:
1. No family or personal history of any neurological conditions or psychiatric conditions
2. SRQ 20 score of 6 and above
