- •All type 2 diabetes mellitus patients diagnosed as per ADA criteria
- •Type 2 diabetes patients who have been diagnosed with Acute coronary syndrome as per AHA updated guidelines for the diagnosis of acute coronary syndrome
排除标准
- •Patients with the following:
- •Cardiomyopathy
- •Valvular Heart Disease
- •Hemolytic Anemia
- •Chronic Kidney Disease
- •Nephrotic Syndrome
- •Chronic Liver Disease/severe hepatic dysfunction
- •Hypothyroidism
- •Suspected familial hypertriglyceridemia or one first-degree relative with hypertriglyceridemia
- •Patients taking statins and triglyceride - lowering medications before the onset of ACS
