1.Indian nationals
2.Dysglycemia as per the following definition:
-Impaired fasting glucose (fasting plasma glucose 100-125 mg/dl on a 75 g oral glucose tolerance test) OR
-Impaired glucose tolerance (2 hour plasma glucose 140 - 199 mg/dL on a 75 g oral glucose tolerance test) OR
-Impaired fasting glucose and impaired glucose tolerance on a 75 g oral glucose tolerance test OR
-HbA1C 5.7-6.4% (with or without the above conditions)
3.Certified medically fit to donate a kidney by the treating nephrologist after completing all investigations
4.Provide written, informed consent for inclusion in the study
1.Age > 60 years
2.Prospective kidney donors with haemoglobinopathies
