- •Patients with thoracic trauma requiring emergency chest tube placement as decided by trauma surgeon
排除标准
- •Patients younger than 18 yrs
- •Patients in a state of cardiopulmonary arrest on arrival to ED
- •Patients who cannot respond to pain assessment
- •Patient requiring thoracotomy in initial 48 hours of addmission
- •patients not consenting for study
