Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • ASA class 1\-2

Exclusion Criteria

  • Patients were unwilling to participate, had a history of allergy to lidocaine or fentanyl, history of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, bronchial asthma, recent respiratory tract infection less than 2 weeks, impaired kidney or liver function, or had been treated with angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors or beta blocker, symptomatic bradycardia, tachyarrhythmia, left bundle branch block and second or third\-degree atrioventricular block, pregnancy and language barrier.
