1)Married willing and cooperative women
2)Age between 20 years to 55 years.
3)The patients having clinical signs and symptoms of Yonigata Swetastrava i.e. features of white discharge with itching/ any abnormal smell/ swelling/redness.
4) Detection of pathogen by wet vaginal smear examination including any features either one/two/three/all.
5)Abstinence from sexual intercourse during study period or husband willing to use condoms during study period.
6)Hb > 7 gms%
1)Unmarried women
2)Age below 20 years and above 55 years
3)Pregnant women, patient with IUCD, Contraceptive pills
4)Patients suffering from Tuberculosis, HIV, VDRL, DM, TORCH infection, Cervical erosion, prolapse, polyp, unexplained vaginal bleeding, Genital malignancy and Congenital and any other organic pathologies of reproductive tract.
5)PID-lower abdominal pain, leucorrhoea, rebound abdominal tenderness, dyspareunia, tenderness of uterus or fornics, fever, leukocytosis (at least 3 criteria positive)
6)Use of antibiotics or local vaginal formulation within the previous month
7)Hemoglobin less than 7 gm%
