Patients undergoing emergency laparotomy under the Division of Trauma Surgery and Critical Care in JPN Apex Trauma Centre, AIIMS, New Delhi.
Patients of age - 16 years to 65 years
ASA 1 and 2 patients
ASA 3,4, and 5
Immunocompromised patients
Patients requiring postoperative inotropes or ventilator supports
Chronic liver disease patients
Patients with coagulation disorders
Patients on corticosteroids, insulin, anticoagulants
Patients undergoing operations for solid organ injury
Patients who will not consent
