Inclusion Criteria

Non-smokers; vegetarian and / or vegan diet for at least 1 years; serum cobalamin range between 110-310 pmol/l; written consent after information about study contents and study procedure; Ability and willingness of study participants to follow study leaders instructions

Exclusion Criteria

Intake of vitamin B12-containing dietary supplements 3 month before study begin; severe chronic illness (Cancer, diabetes mellitus Typ I, manifest coronary heart disease), severe kidney or liver diseases; Allergies or intolerances regarding study product contents; chronic gastroinestinal diseases (especially small intestine e.g. duodenal ulcer, liver, pancreas) and state after gastrointestinal surgical procedure e.g. nontropical sprue, short bowel syndrome); Heart or gastrointestinal surgery; immediate planned surgery; BMI >30 kg/m²; addiction to alcohol and/or drugs; smoking; Pregnancy and lactation; missing consent or refusing / reset of the consent
