- •Euthyroid patients
- •Elective thyroidectomy under general anesthesia
- •Either gender
- •More than 18 years of age
- •ASA class I and II
排除标准
- •Unable to understand visual analog score and patient controlled analgesia
- •Malignancy requiring block dissection
- •Substernal goiters
- •Contraindications to Bilateral superficial cervical plexus block
- •Contraindications to morphine
- •Sensitivity / Intolerance to local anesthetics / other medications used in the study
- •Recent steroid or opioid or other analgesic use
