Brief Summary

A cross-sectional descriptive study is being planned to assess the attitude of medical students towards mobile learning (m learning), to determine the feasibility and acceptability of Epicollect instead of pen and paper in improving undergraduate medical students’ attitude towards data collection for the family health advisory program. All the students posted for the community medicine posting during their second and third professional year in 2019 will be invited to participate in the study. For evaluation of teacher perception to m-Learning, a minimum of 25 teachers from at-least five departments at MAMC will be included in the study with the sample being selected by computer-based simple random sampling. Student questionnaire for evaluating engagement with m-learning, Student questionnaire for assessing attitudes towards m-learning, Mobile learning with Epicollect questionnaire and Mobile Learning Perception Scale adapted from  Uzunboylu and Ozdamli. The data collected will be entered in Epidata Software version 3.1 and analyzed using statistical software Stata version 14. Our institutional Ethics Committee has approved the project.

1.Second and third-year professional undergraduate student pursuing M.B.B.S course at MAMC 2.Students using Android smartphones.

Exclusion Criteria

Students that did not complete the family health advisory program (FHAP).
