Newborn babies of age between 2-7 days
Babies showing elevated serum bilirubin levels in between 8-15mg/dl.
Babies showing signs & symptoms of physiological jaundice (unconjugated hyperbilirubinemia).
Babies whose parents are consciously willing to participate in the study.
Babies weighing 1.5 - 4kgs
Newborn babies less than2 days old & more than 7 days old
Babies with Rh incompatibility &HDN(hemorrhagic disease of newborn).
Sr.bilirubin levels <8mg/dL
Babies with any medical emergencies, congenital anomalies ,surgical emergencies requiring immediate intervention.
Patients with complications .
Babies whose parents are consciously not willing to participate in this study.
Newborns who developed jaundice before 24hrs of age
