Inclusion Criteria

All ASA I and II patients, greater than 18 years of age, scheduled for craniotomy and tumor decompression in the sitting position

Exclusion Criteria

Patients with

ASA physical status III & IV

History of ischemic heart disease, cardiac rhythm disturbances, intracardiac shunts

Uncontrolled BP

Renal or Hepatic dysfunction

Allergic history

Diabetes having autonomic dysfunction

History of psychiatric diseases

Severe cervical canal stenosis

Pregnant patients
