Adults; aged 20 to 59; both genders; body mass index equal to or greater than 18.5 kg/m² and less than 40 kg/m²
Individuals undergoing pharmacological treatment for obesity; pregnancy; individuals with untreated hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism (TSH <0.2 or > 5.5 mlU/mL) or treated less than 6 months ago; individuals in an acute phase of depression (less than 6 months in depression), those with schizophrenia or psychotic disorders, or those using medication that causes cognitive, attention, and concentration impairments (such as potent anxiolytics); practitioners of mindfulness, meditation, yoga, or similar practices within the last 6 months (with formal practice at least once a week); individuals who have undergone any type of bariatric surgery; extreme obesity (BMI equal to or greater than 40 kg/m²); participation in other clinical intervention studies; chronic kidney disease, heart failure, and other clinical conditions that may interfere with fluid balance; individuals who received nutritional guidance in the last 6 months; individuals being diagnosed with anorexia nervosa
