Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.age between 18 and 80 years
- •2\. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status II\-III
- •3\.undergoing elective coronary artery bypass surgery (CABG) under cardiopulmonary bypass assistance
- •4\.Informed consent
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Peripheral vascular disease
- •2\. Autonomic nervous system dysfunction such as diabetic mellitus with autonomic neuropathy or previous sympathectomy etc
- •3\. Co\-existing significant (severe) valvular heart disease
- •4\. Abnormal hemoglobinemia such as methemoglobinemia or carboxyhemoglobinemia
- •5\. Severe anemia or baseline hemoglobin \<8 g/dL
- •6\. Abnormal skin pigmentation of finger)
- •7\. Persistent cardiac arrhythmia such as atrial fibrillation etc
