Inclusion Criteria
All patients undergoing elective infraumbilical surgeries under spinal anaesthesia who fit into American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I and II.
Exclusion Criteria
Contraindications to spinal anaesthesia
Patient refusal
Patient allergic to opioids and local anaesthetic agents
Pregnant and lactating women

Name Time Method To compare the effect on onset & duration of sensory block & onset & duration of motor blockTimepoint: The block will be assessed at 1 minute interval for the first 10 minutes,every 5 minutes in the first hour, every 10 minutes till the regression of block
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method To compare the effect on hemodynamic changes in both the groupsTimepoint: Hemodynamic parameters measured every 2 minute time intervals for the first 10 minutes followed by 5 minute intervals for the next 20 minutes & at 10 minute intervals till the end of the surgery
