Inclusion Criteria

Participants with good comprehension

A person who started oral feedings.

Persons with a pure case of total laryngectomy

Exclusion Criteria

Presence of any neuromotor impairment affecting swallowing skills

Structural and functional abnormality of the oral cavity

Significant postoperative dysphagia or prosthesis-related issues of swallowing

Excessive fat deposition in the cervical area

Excessive hair growth in the cervical area

Skin allergy in the neck region

the person is not comfortable to accept the food presented

The data on biomechanics of wet swallowing in alaryngeal speakers can be used to identify swallowing problems post operatively in routine clinical situations through a simple radiation free noninvasive biomechanics study . Thus , method can be used for screening purpose and early diagnostics of swallowing issues .Findings of the study would help in planning client specific intervention programme and further documenting the progress. <br/ ><br>Timepoint: ONE TIME , <br/ ><br>1 st January 2019- 20 th January 2019 <br/ ><br>
